For sale here is an exceptional set of 13 flies tied by the noted Oregon tyer and author, Ernest Herbert "Polly" Rosborough (1902-1997). Rosborough, a respected innovator of dozens of original patterns, several represented here. Dated 1981, the page on which the flies are hooked provides pattern identification and size for each of the unused and mostly excellent condition flies. Also accompanying is a 1990 handwritten letter by Rosborough relaying his "complete retirement" due to ill health. Comes in its original "Custom Tied Flies" envelope. A very historical and fine collection of Rosborough flies.
