The Shimoda Action X70 HD Backpack features a spacious 45L main compartment and separate laptop pocket. The X70 HD (Heavy Duty) has been reinforced throughout to better handle very large camera systems in extreme outdoor conditions.

This bag has been reinforced to better handle the weight of the very large camera systems it fits. The biggest USP with the new X70 is that the Extra Large DV Core Unit v2 (which comes standard in the Starter Kit), now fits a Canon/Nikon/Sony 600mm f4.0 as long as it’s not attached to a camera body. There is a new XXL Core Unit which fits a Canon/Nikon/Sony 600mm f4.0 attached to a camera.

In addition, it has a top access door that allows the camera/lens combo to be pulled out through the top of the X70 HD, but the end result is that a large camera/lens combo can be discretely removed from a pack standing vertically in a tight space.

NEW AND UPDATED FEATURES: 

Bottom Grab Handle.
A popular feature on the Explore v2. This allows the user to move the bag short spaces between locations without having to zip the bag up.

Dual Laptop Sleeves.
In addition to the existing rear laptop pocket, we have also added minimal padding to the front pocket so that it can be used as quick storage for a laptop, especially a larger size laptop than will fit in the rear sleeve.

Luggage Handle Pass-Through.
Side handle is now large enough to slide over the extending handle of a rolling luggage case for secure piggy-back travel through an airport.

Included Rain Cover.
All Action X packs now include a rain cover and a new storage pocket in the base.

Adjustable Hip Belt.
The updated belt can now be reduced or expanded in size for users with smaller or larger waists.

Hidden Pocket for Apple AirTag /Tile Tracker.
Special hidden sleeve securely fits an AirTag so you can always find your camera bag.

Removable Tripod / Water Bottle Pocket. 

If you do not need to use the tripod / water bottle pocket then removing them completely allows the side pocket they were stored in to be used for other things.

Larger Mobile Phone Pocket.
The larger sized pockets are compatible with iPhone MAX 13 & 14.
