The embracing, beanbag-inspired shape of Ferm Living's low-slung Catena Modular Sofa is generously dimensioned for all-out relaxation and cosiness: Ferm Living call it ‘low living’. The series comprises six individual modules that can be combined in multiple ways to create your desired sofa. The name Catena is inspired by the catenary curve, a u-like shape that a chain or cable adopts when supported only at its ends, and which is mirrored in the soft curves and top-stitched seams of the Catena sofa. The homely, module-based designs are made with innovative microcellular foam that ensures maximum comfort as well as durability. Also available as a 2-Seater, 3-Seater or a Corner Sofa.

The Catena Sofa cover is now removable for cleaning or maintenance. This makes the sofa an ideal choice for those with pets, kids or careless friends! Dry cleaning is always recommended to prevent shrinkage in washing. To remove the cover, first open the zipper underneath the seat to access two velcro strips inside the structure. Next, undo the velcro strips to release the black inlay fabric. Finally, detach the velcro fastenings from all corners of the seat. To reattach the cover, simply reverse these steps. Small Catena Modules have a total depth of 95 cm, whereas Large Catena Modules have a depth of 108 cm. Therefore Small and Large Modules cannot be mixed and matched.
