'The Life of Nelson' by Robert Southey, published by Rickers & Son Ltd, London, 1909.

The volume is fully bound in tree calf leather with gilt stamped decoration to both boards and board edges. The spine boasts five raised bands, gilt stamped decoration, a red leather title panel and brown leather author panel. There is shelf wear to the extremities, particularly to the base and spine edges, but both boards remain firmly affixed and the binding remains tight.

Marbled endpapers. Inscription dated 1928 to the front blank. All other pages remain clean, bright and free from inscription.
