A cool, pure and wonderfully elegant nose offers up notes of spicy essence of red currant liqueur plus a trace of earth. There is a refined texture to the layered and concentrated middle weight flavors that possess that really lovely inner mouth perfume before culminating in a mineral-infused and beautifully long finish. While this may not be a true Chambolle villages given the origins of the fruit, it’s seriously impressive. (89-92)/2021+
