Here the grudging nose only reluctantly gives up its much gamier aromas of red berries, earth and soft floral nuances. There is excellent intensity to the powerful and muscular flavors that pack plenty of punch as well as solid mid-palate density before culminating in a sleek and stony finish that delivers fine depth and outstanding length. This is really quite good but note well that it’s going to require plenty of cellar time first. (91-94)/2029+
