The Kaizen Event Leader course equips individuals with the skills to lead impactful team projects that deliver measurable improvements in quality, cost, delivery, and productivity. This training focuses on the tools and leadership techniques necessary to drive rapid, focused change. 

Core competencies include: 

• Planning and Leading Kaizen Events: Organizing and executing team improvement initiatives to achieve targeted outcomes. 
• A3 Problem Solving: Utilizing structured problem-solving techniques to identify root causes and implement solutions. 
• Value Stream Mapping: Analyzing, documenting, and improving material and information flow to enhance efficiency and eliminate waste. 
• One Piece Flow: Eliminating batch production and designing processes for smooth, continuous production flow with no interruptions.
• Setup Reduction: Reducing time consuming and costly changeovers to minimize downtime and boost flexibility. 

Graduates will be ready to lead cross-functional teams in achieving sustainable improvements that align with organizational goals. 

This course serves as a prerequisite to GBMP's Lean Leader level.
