These holes are a theorized evolutionary adaptation! Naturally, the plant can be found in jungles where it climbs through tree branches searching for light. The holes allow it to spend less energy on areas that may be overshadowed by the canopy above.

• Provide your plant with a moss or coco coir pole to climb on. This will provide support for the fast-growing vine. And it will produce larger leaves.

• As a plant matures they lose their bottom foliage. This is completely normal and unavoidable. If the upper leaves are turning yellow, you may need to reassess your watering routine or move the plant away from direct sunlight.  
• Allow the top 2 inches of the soil to dry before watering. Water thoroughly and remove excess water. Do not allow the soil to completely dry out. 
• Prefers bright, indirect light. Can tolerate low to medium light. But the brighter the light, the happier the plant will be.
