The crown enjoys security from Panerai's very own Device Protecting the Crown, and the bezel is emblazoned with measures of the Tachymetric Scale framing the black dial. Within that frame are 3 sub-dials and a date display, while the hour, minute and second hands take their respective turns in measures of the luminous index hour markers and the single Arabic numeral at 12 o’clock.
