Designed by Danish designer Jens Landberg Schroder, the Bjork Rug is beautifully hand-knotted from New Zealand wool using the Sumak technique, a traditional craft practised in countries such as Turkey and Iran. This knotting method creates a knit-like texture while preserving the durable, structured qualities of a flat woven rug. The resulting rug is one which is completely unique and a testament to centuries old techniques.
