SAVE THE RAMBLERS: With a fast growing habit that reaches up to 20’ tall, Lady Gay is not a shy Rambler. Perfect for zones 6-9, she will produce masses of 1 ½”- 2” pink blooms with up to 25 petals each born in clusters against glossy foliage. She has long, flexible canes that are easy to train and bend. Expect a strong fragrance during her initial bloom and occasional, scattered flushes. Lady Gay is a rare Rambler that has previously not been available commercially in the US. We are partnering with the American Rose Society (ARS) to save these nearly extinct ramblers from Anne Belovich’s personal rose collection with the goal of having this rose in three public gardens and at least 30 private collections. A portion of the proceeds of the sale of this rose will go back to the ARS’ Save the Ramblers initiative to further support the work of preserving these nearly extinct ramblers.
