The Voltasol range of inverters received a new certificate to comply with the engineering recommendations G98 & G99. The new version 5.5kW-E, is suitable for connection in parallel with the public grid. That means it works as a grid-tie inverter with direct consumption of the produced electricity from the solar panels. The excessive energy will be fed back to the grid or stored in battery banks. If there is no need to export the electricity to the DNO, then the inverter will be automatically disconnected.

As a truly versatile product, it is made for grid-tied and off-grid applications (in case you need to power AC-loads autonomously). This inverter is the most powerful in its class because it supports up to 6500 watts of photovoltaic arrays. The maximum permissible voltage from solar panels is 500V. 

REMAIN ELECTRIFIED ALL THE TIME 

When the mains electricity fails the hybrid systems will switch to the energy storage (batteries) and operate as a traditional off-grid inverter. This is the backup operating mode.
