This is a wonderful ethnic necklace composed of antique African Trade Beads. The largest beads are fabulous Italian/Venetian Millefiori elbow beads from the early 1900's.The Italians are famous for making these beads that have vibrant colors with multiple delicate floral canes. They have a black inner core with blue, white, yellow and rust cane flowers. The smaller beads are off-white with the same brick red, blue and white colors.  This fabulous necklace includes pipe beads and cast brass beads in between the tubes. They are all hand strung on cord with a brass hook clasp. 

This necklace is from the estate of a Jewelry/Bead collector in Houston.  These antique beads have some chips and dings, which add to their beauty and story.
