This DK-weight yarn draws inspiration from Bolivia's majestic Mount Sajama, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of the Aymara people known for their deep spiritual connection to nature and sustainable practices and vibrant landscapes of the region, and the iconic llamas that roam its slopes.

Sayama's palette features slightly heathered colours, achieved by blending the natural fibre hues of llama and highland wool. This makes for a much more interesting knitted fabric, without the usual flatness associated with commercially dyed yarns.

Crafted in Bolivia at an Eco Text 100 certified mill, Sayama totally embodies Pascuali's commitment to sustainability and ethical production practices. While llama wool doesn't yet have mass ecological certifications, Pascuali personally ensure the welfare of the animals involved in its production, guaranteeing both quality and ethical standards.
