Always wanted to perform your own boro-style repairs on those old jeans, but didn't know where to start? These Olympus printed sashiko strips are perfect!

Super simple to use: just cut, stitch and patch.  Each strip has six different patterns printed across the Sakizome Momen fabric which takes away much of the hassle of having to mark up denim with detailed sashiko patterns. The pencil-marked patterns will fade out gradually when washed. You can cut  the pieces to whatever size you like.

Use for creating traditional boro repairs on jeans, or use to embellish bags, book covers, cushions, shirts or even for quilting.

Patterns: yokogushi (horizontal rows), shippou (seven treasures), kakinohanazashi (persimmon flower stitch), karakusa (scrolling vine), asanoha (hemp leaf) and tatewaku (rising steam).

Suggested thread: 20m or 100m Sashiko thread, or even 80m Fine Thread for more intricate work
