Light & Motion Pro 8000 RF Overview

The spLED Stella 8000 RF 5600K LED Light from Light & Motion is a daylight-balanced LED source that packs in a wide variety of advanced features in a small form factor. The spLED designation indicates "single point" enhancements to the 29 emitters that Light & Motion has made to reduce the light field and eliminate multiple shadows that can plague LED fixtures. Light & Motion has also introduced RF technology via the built-in 20-frequency Elinchrom wireless receiver.

For location work, the Stella 8000 is well-suited. With a small form factor of 7 x 3.7 x 3.7" and a weight of only 2.5 lb, it's barely noticeable in your kit case. What is noticeable is the clean, accurate color rendering output from the unit's flicker-free COB LED that gives it a CRI rating of 92 and a TLCI rating of 93.
