Description

Phenergan is a long - acting antihistamine which can be used to relieve symptoms of allergic disorders including:

Hayfever

Allergic Rhinitis

Urticaria (hives)

Eczema

Dermatitis

Allergic reactions to insect bites and stings

For the prevention and treatment of travel sickness

Relief of nasal congestion due to the common cold.

Promethazine Hydrochloride 10mg

Directions & Precautions
This medication may cause drowsiness. If affected do not drive a vehicle or operate machinery.

If you are pregnant or may become pregnant, check with your Doctor or Pharmacist before taking this medicine.

This product should not be used in children under 2 years of age.

Avoid Alcohol.

This product contains sodium benzoate, sodium sulphite, and sodium metabisulfite. Also contains sorbitol and maltitol, 1.33g and 14.12g respectively, per maximum recommended daily dose.

Products containing sorbitol or maltitol may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea.

12 years/Adult:

2-3 TIMES A DAY DOSE: 1-2 tablets (as a single dose)

6 to 12 years:

SINGLE DOSE AT NIGHT: 1-2 tablets

2-3 TIMES A DAY DOSE: 1 tablet

SINGLE DOSE at Night for Sedation

6 to 12 years:

1-2 tablets

Dosage for 'PREVENTION' of Travel Sickness

12 Years/Adult:

1-2 tablets the night before travel

6 to 12 years:

1 tablet the night before travel

Dosage for 'TREATMENT' of Travel Sickness

12 Years/Adult:

1-2 tablets as a single dose

6 to 12 years:

1 tablet

Dosage for Nausea and Vomiting

12 Years/Adult:

2 tablets (as a single dose) 3-5 times a day

6 to 12 years:

1 tablet 2 times a day
