Overview
Geared towards providing Ampeg's signature tone in a compact frame, the BA-112V2 is a 75W combo amplifier with a 12" speaker that's designed for electric bass. The amp can deliver a clean tone, or Ampeg's proprietary Scrambler Overdrive can be utilized to add distortion to taste. This unit has a -15 dB pad to suit any electric bass, be it passive or active, as well as a 3-band EQ. Tonal possibilities are further augmented by Ampeg's signature Ultra Hi/Lo selectors. This combo amp also hosts two auxiliary inputs—one 1/4" and one 1/8"—for playing along with external sound sources, while a headphone jack allows you to practice quietly and discreetly. A 60° monitoring angle directs the sound closer to your ears. Comparably lightweight at 42 lb, this amp is a portable option for many practice situations. Plus a Strukture SC10W 10-Feet Instrument Cable, 6mm Woven is reinforced by a state-of-the-art shrink-wrap sleeve to resist separation at the termination points. Finally, we use the highest quality solder connections, which are protected by a thick ABS inner sleeve, to create a cable you can count on. Plus a XCG-4 Classic Guitar Stand from On-Stage is constructed of thick tubing with velveteen rubber padding. It features a removable lower stepped yoke, security strap on the upper yoke that closes over the neck of your guitar, and adjustable height.
