Folks this is a rare instrument. Not only is it rare but the Inverness Green finish is so cool, with ridiculously delicious lacquer checking, Forget retro cool this guitar oozes actual cool. Serial number is 278812 but is very hard to see.



This 1965 Epiphone Olympic in excellent condition, all original and was imported into the UK by us from Monster Music in Levittown, NY. It´s a full scale version with a solid mahogany body and 1-piece neck. The guitar came from Gibson’s Kalamazoo factory with a wrap-over tailpiece, so it has much more punch and sustain as most other Oly´s who came with the Epiphone-Maestro trem-tailpiece. Lightweight with almost no fading.
 
With the distinctive 6-0n-a-side "batwing" headstock and a thin, resonant mahogany body, this guitar is extremely comfortable to play, while the twin single coil Melody Maker pickups and independent tone and volume controls allow for a wide variety of great tones.
