PreSonus AUDIOBOX iTWO Bundle Overview

The AudioBox iTwo from PreSonus is a USB 2.0 recording interface that is designed for recording guitars, basses, keyboards and more for band rehearsals, vocal demos, podcasts and other applications. It features high-performance Class A preamplifiers with phantom power, and records audio at up to 24-bit, 96 kHz sampling resolution. Ideal for recording band rehearsals, demos, keyboard workstations and more, the AudioBox iTwo is equipped with two combo mic/instrument/line inputs for connecting dynamic or condenser microphones as well as guitars, basses and keyboards. The unit also features a stereo headphone output with dedicated level control, ultra-low-latency monitoring, and balanced main outputs for connecting studio monitors.

This kit includes a blue 550/551 Microphone Ensemble from MXL features two professional-quality microphones suitable for recording vocals and instruments. The 550 large-diaphragm mic is a robust vocal condenser mic and the 551 small-diaphragm mic can be used with a variety of instruments. Each mic has a pressure gradient condenser capsule with a cardioid pickup pattern for off-axis noise rejection. The mics also contain internal Mogami wiring for high-quality connections and a high SPL capability, allowing the mics to record loud sources without distortion. Each mic works through 48V of phantom power and has a wide frequency range of 30 Hz to 20 kHz.
