Woodland Spirit Batik Patchwork Dress

One-of-a-kind patchwork dress in earthy greens, browns, and soft purples, with hand-painted woodland and celestial details throughout.  This one brings me right back to the 90's when patchwork hit the scene at the festivals and fairs I did for a living back then.  I feel the sunshine and dust and music in the background with the scent of a sage stick burning nearby.  People talking and laughing and walking around with not a care in the air.

Okay back to earth now.  This one features glorious mushrooms, stars, and many a beloved dragonfly.  One could say it has a grounded, forest-like feel while carrying a hint of magic.

It's a comfortable, easy to wear pattern designed for a relaxed silhouette.

Washing instructions: machine wash and dry (in any temperature - sizing for this is prewashed and preshrunk).

This fabric is a very soft 100% cotton medium weight fleece interior with a smooth knit exterior  It's a substantial weight fabric- not a lightweight dress that catches the wind, yet it's very airy and easy to wear.  Perfect for the cool coastal temps in any season. 

I used a denim 110/18 size needle and zigzag stitch to assemble the entire dress.  The raw hemline is intentionally, yet subtly imperfect.  

Fits like a relaxed Large or XL depending on desired fit.  It does seem a little too roomy on my size 6-8 frame.  For reference, I am 5'4", 150 lbs, 34C bust.
