It often hits me that we are all quite childlike. We all have the inner desire to be seen, loved and valued. What I find truly beautiful is that our heavenly father says you and I are made in His image. We are loved. Unconditionally.

The woman in the painting is sitting peacfully alone. She is naked and vulnerable like a little child. She is small an fragile compared to her surroundings. But she has her face turned upwards, completely in awe. In awe of what her eyes might not see, but what her heart can sense.
