WorkOne Partner Conference 2022

On November 29th, WorkOne once again hosted it's Partner Conference. 

The conference returned to an in person event and brought together presenters from a variety of agencies.  The presenters shared overviews of their programs and how they assist members of our community.  It was a great opportunity to learn about other services and network with our partners.

Thank you to all of the presenters and attendees who made this a successful event.

Apprenticeship Week

On November 18th, WorkOne gathered with our partners representing Education, Goverment and Local Employers to celebrate National Apprenticeship week.  Meeting at the Vigo County School Corporation, Superintendent Rob Hayworth welcomed the guests and Terre Haute Mayor Mayor Duke Bennett read a proclamation declaring Apprenticeship Week in Terre Haute. Lisa Lee then introduced Amy Allen from Union Health who shared a great presentation about their experience launching their Nursing Apprenticeship program with vy Tech students.  She also updated everyone on the next apprenticeship group which will include students from Ivy Tech and Indiana State University.
